Fraser and Mulligan Solicitors merge with Mackinnons Solicitors LLP

On the 1st June 2022, the firm of Fraser & Mulligan Solicitors merged with Mackinnons Solicitors LLP. Fraser & Mulligan were a long-established firm with offices in Aberdeen and Ballater.  Whilst their office in Aberdeen has closed, their office in Ballater remains open for business as usual.  Many of the Fraser & Mulligan Partners, Solicitors and support staff have transferred over to Mackinnons which will provide continuity of service to the Fraser & Mulligan existing clients.

This year marks the 180th anniversary of Mackinnons and although one of Aberdeen’s oldest and most established firms, Mackinnons is recognised as being one of the most progressive.  This is the second merger which Mackinnons has completed in recent years, having merged with Iain Smith Solicitors in 2019.

Speaking of the merger, Senior Partner, Pat Gray said:

“Decisions such as these are not taken lightly, but we welcome the many new clients that this merger will introduce to our firm.   We are pleased that so many of Fraser & Mulligan’s staff have transferred over to Mackinnons which gives us the support and background information invaluable at this time when people may be understandably concerned about their personal records.   Our aim is to create long-term relationships, provide effective solutions and to offer high quality expert advice.  We are confident that this merger will add to the existing strengths of the firm, without losing focus on the importance of providing a personal service to each and every one of our clients”.
