Mackinnons Partners Gear Up for Ride the North

On Saturday 26th of August, Mackinnons Partners Neil Torrance, Pamela Bursill and Gregor Sim will be tackling Ride the North together with friends and family to raise money for local children’s charity “Charlie House”.

Beginning and ending in Huntly, this year’s Ride the North consists of a 64 mile route or 100 mile route though Aberdeenshire and Moray Speyside. There will be a number of hills to climb during the route and Neil, Pamela and Gregor have been training hard to ensure they’re ready!

The team have decided to donate any funds raised from their efforts to the north-east charity, Charlie House. Charlie House was established in 2011 to help make life better for babies, children and young people in the North East of Scotland who have life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and to support their families. In 2018, they launched their Big Build Appeal which aims to raise £8m to build a dedicated support centre in Aberdeen to allow families access to specialist support. https://www.charliehouse.org.uk/about-us

All staff at Mackinnons wish Neil, Pamela, Gregor and the team the best of luck for the day. Hopefully plenty of cake stops will provide enough energy to make the hills bearable!

For anyone who would like to make a donation to support this very worthy cause, the team’s JustGiving page can be found at: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mackinnons-tour-de-farce
