During June 2022, our wonderful staff decided to lace up their trainers and walk/run/cycle to raise funds for the Red Cross Appeal for the Ukraine. Having initially set out to cover the width of Ukraine (a mere 785 miles) we quickly smashed that target and so decided to make the virtual "return" journey. In all, we clocked up an amazing 1999 miles and raised £1690 for the Red Cross.
A special mention to our cyclists Neil Torrance, Pam Bursill and Gregor Sim, who cycled from Aberdeen to Ballater.
The Team at Mackinnons hosted a ‘Lunch with the Legends’ to celebrate (almost) 40 years since the release of groundbreaking “Last of the Hunters” documentary, featuring 3 legends - and top skippers- of the Scottish Fishing Industry; Andrew Bremner, Willie Tait and Terry Taylor.
