Neil is a Partner within Mackinnons' Court Department. He is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen, who qualified as a Solicitor in 1994. Having previously been a Partner in a local Aberdeen Firm, Neil joined Mackinnons as a Partner at the beginning of 2019.

Neil is experienced in a wide range of Civil Court Work but nowadays specialises in insolvency both with regard to general advice and court claims relating to insolvent companies or individuals. While based in Aberdeen he has clients from all over Scotland, as well as some from England who require to deal with Scottish insolvencies.
