Fisheries Prosecutions & Marine Criminal Law

The heavy regulation within the fishing industry and wider marine sector inevitably mean that some will fall foul of the law.

If and when that happens, our highly experienced marine criminal law team are on hand to assist and advise you.

With a deserved reputation as Scotland’s leading fisheries prosecution defence lawyers, we have successfully represented fishermen in prosecutions throughout Scotland and taken cases involving European fisheries legislation to the European Court. We also regularly represent Masters and vessel owners and operators in regulatory criminal matters raised under the Merchant Shipping Act, Collisions Regulations, in Health and Safety matters and in cases of oil pollution.

How can we help you?
