Mackinnons welcome the re-opening of the housing market

As lockdown restrictions finally are eased, we are delighted to see the re-opening of the Scottish housing market.

Our property branch offices in Cults and Aboyne will re-open on 1st July 2020 and all the indications are that we should expect a busy summer and autumn.

We must, however, remain cautious.  The health, care and well-being of our staff, and our clients, is paramount and each of our offices is now equipped to operate in as safe a manner as possible.  Of necessity social distancing will remain with us for quite some time to come and this will mean some changes to the way in which we operate.

Our property staff conducting viewings and appraisals will do so within government rules and guidance documents have been drawn up for issue to all staff and to our selling clients.

It is our hope that an early surge in activity, after months of pent-up delay, can be sustained.  We will be monitoring the situation as it develops with interest and advising our clients accordingly.
