New Appointments to Mackinnons Property Team

The autumn months have seen a busy “transfer” window at Mackinnons property with five new faces coming on board – reflecting on how busy 2021 has been and how we plan to further develop and deliver well-managed property legal and estate agency services looking forward.

Pamela Bursill.  Pam joins Mackinnons as a Senior Associate having spent many years previously as a Partner and latterly Consultant at Raeburn Clark Christie & Wallace (Aberdeen and Banchory).  Pam’s calm yet confident, hard-working approach will further boost the existing team and assist the delivery of property legal services on Deeside.

Gregor Sim.  Gregor joins Mackinnons as a Senior Associate also in the Property Department.  Previously a partner with James & George Collie in Aberdeen and latterly a Senior Associate with Brodies, Gregor brings with him a wealth of experience and a loyal and extensive client following.  A senior tutor at Aberdeen University, Gregor is an excellent role model and mentor for the more junior staff in the team.

Laura Totten. We are delighted to welcome Laura back to Mackinnons from Savills, Aberdeen as our Assistant Property Manager.  Originally a property adviser, Laura’s time away has given her extended experience and exposure in other areas of the market which she will be able to put to good use in her new role.

Jackie Cocker.  A well-known “face” in the property world, Jackie joins Mackinnons as a Property Adviser from James & George Collie in Aberdeen.  Jackie has worked both on Deeside and in Aberdeen throughout her career and will be based in our Aboyne office

“As 2021 draws to a close, these new appointments will ensure that our firm continues to provide high quality niche property services from experienced personnel.   As we move ahead in the New Year, what is uppermost in our minds is our future.  We move forward in the knowledge that we have excellent people on board.  The younger generation of lawyers and qualified staff coming through the firm are extremely capable, diligent and most importantly, share the same values as those who have gone before them.”  Pat Gray (Property Partner)
