A partially glazed entrance door leads into the welcoming and spacious reception hall. Fully carpeted with a staircase leading to the first floor accommodation, a double fitted cupboard is ideal for storing outdoor clothing and footwear, while a further understair cupboard provides storage and access to the gas meter.

A door from the reception hall leads into the generously proportioned lounge/dining room which runs the length of the property. Enjoying dual aspect views over the front and rear gardens, there is a striking decorative fireplace, while this versatile living area provides excellent space for large items of freestanding furniture.

The dining kitchen overlooks the side of the property via a deep silled window, while a door provides access to the paved pathway leading to the gardens. Fully tiled, the kitchen is fitted with a good range of white shaker style base, wall and display cabinetry. Laminate roll top worksurfaces incorporate a stainless steel sink. Plumbed for white appliances, the freestanding oven with electric hob and fridge/freezer are to remain. A fitted cupboard houses the central heating boiler.

Ascending the staircase to the first floor, the landing provides access to the remaining accommodation, while a ceiling hatch with folding ladder provides access to the floored attic which also benefits from light.

Overlooking the rear of the property, double bedroom one is a well proportioned room of traditional style décor and carpeting. With access to storage within the eaves and an open fitted single wardrobe with clothes rail and shelving, the freestanding wardrobes are to remain. A folding door leads into double bedroom two, which is fully carpeted and again of traditional style décor. Overlooking the property frontage, there is a fitted single wardrobe while the freestanding wardrobes are to remain.

Completing the accommodation is the fully tiled bathroom, which is inclusive of a white three piece suite with electric shower appliance over the bath. Further features include a glass display shelf over the wash hand basin and a deep silled window to the side of the property.

Outside

6 Corthan Drive enjoys the benefit of generously proportioned and well established gardens to the front and rear. The front garden is mostly laid to lawn with mature planting, while a concrete pathway leads up to the entrance door and round the side to the rear garden. A delightful suntrap, the rear garden is again mostly laid to lawn with mature planting and borders, including hydrangeas and roses. A paved pathway leads to the bottom of the garden, while there is also a striking timber summer house, a small PVC storage shed and two further timber garden sheds.

Integral to the property there is an external store providing further secure storage.

Fixtures and fittings

All carpets, curtains, blinds, light fittings, free-standing wardrobes and white appliances will be included in the sale, along with the summer house and sheds in the rear garden.
