Directions The resort is located in Ballater on the A93 road accessed from Aberdeen. On entering Ballater continue for approximately one mile on the Braemar Road and Craigendarroch is situated on the right hand side.

The lodge has a relaxing open-plan lounge area that leads directly onto a large, covered veranda with decking area ideal for alfresco dining. As well as the TV/ HiFi and Internet facilities, the lounge also boasts an integrated drop-down bed and wardrobe space.  There are three bedrooms, two with en suite shower room, and a separate shower room. The principal bedroom also has a dressing area. In the kitchen you will find all the home from home appliances, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave.

Furnished and maintained to a very high standard, the lodge sits in a private and secluded location within the estate. The private tarred driveway and paved pathway afford ease of access to this spacious bungalow.

A maintenance charge is payable of approximately £1029.37 per annum. (Please note this has been paid for this year)

The Craigendarroch Country Club and Spa is available for guests during their stay. The 2 indoor swimming pools are currently being refurbished and scheduled to be completed during September 2023.  Other facilities include; bar / lounge, newly refurbished gym, table tennis, squash courts, snooker room, and outdoor tennis courts. The resort is a haven for relaxation or outdoor pursuits and is ideally located for country walks, biking, golf at the nearby Ballater Golf Course as well as skiing at the nearby Lecht and Glenshee. 

Ballater Winter Festival enjoys a fun filled week of entertainment commencing the last Saturday in November.  Activities include an outdoor Christmas market on the green offering a variety of craft stalls and hot food venders, Farmer’s Market and the Ballater and District Pipe Band march through the village turning on the Christmas lights on their way and finish at the Church lighting up the Church Steeple and the Christmas Tree centrally located on the green.  The Albert and Victoria Halls host a Santa’s Grotto and Christmas Craft Fayre.                                                                                     

Location Ballater lies on the main A93 road, some 40 miles west of Aberdeen amid beautiful countryside in the Cairngorms National Park. This attractive, friendly, village enjoys a wide range of quality shops, restaurants and hotels, a medical centre and offers many other activities and events such as the Ballater Walking Week, Victoria Week and the Ballater Highland Games. The lively community also offers many clubs, gatherings and social activities. Primary Schooling is catered for in the village, with secondary education at nearby Aboyne Academy. Situated in the heart of Royal Deeside, Ballater is a wonderful centre for outdoor pursuits which include superb walking and cycling opportunities, riding, many good golf courses, gliding and in the winter months, skiing at both Glenshee and The Lecht. Other local sporting pursuits include deer stalking, pheasant and grouse shooting and fishing on the River Dee. With a good road and regular bus service, Ballater is within commuting distance to the business parks in both the Westhill and Kingswells areas.
